The Medicine

Is Just

Psilocythem is a medicine rooted in relational healing. Addressing complex trauma requires deep recognition, imagination, and an attunement to the ruptures that survival leaves behind. These wounds did not occur in isolation. In therapeutic spaces, I often hear people express, “I wish there were a screen above my head so you could see what I see!” Psilocyb|n serves as a guide, walking alongside you through the landscapes of past, present, and future with dignity, safety, and a sense of belonging. I say “the medicine is just”because it restores time to those who have lost it. It holds people in a space of embodied attention and connection. What if the struggle isn’t about not working hard enough? Many of us try to push ourselves to heal, only to find we are still trapped in the same cycles.

The Medicine Partners with Medicine in the Practioner.

Are you ready to shift what has bound you to expand into what mends you? Relational Harm Longs For Relational Repair. We were not meant to heal alone. I work with folx who have survived complex trauma and partner with the medicine to hold you in your experience with trauma informed attention and care.

I’m a white, queer, abolitionist practitioner who is committed to collective and individual healing. Unknowing relational harm is a process. Partnering with this medicine is something I cherish and has been essential for me individually and collectively. Here are few reasons why I have chosen Psilocyb|n as my plant medicine.

  1. Psilocyb|n is so Queer! This medicine knows how to tend to gender, sexuality, and neuro diverse people! Studies have shown this to be life saving medicine for queer and trans folx capacity for self acceptance and compassionate living.

  2. The medicine is just in nature! Many folx spend years working through the trauma of what they have survived. Each session has been equated to 10 to 15 years of talk therapy. So often I tell my clients it’s not your fault this is so hard. I’m heartened when partnering with psilocyb|n folx on their healing journey will be getting time back and moving places they have been painfully stuck.

  3. I have chosen to work with psilocyb|n as a psychedelic specifically because the mushroom is grown all over the world. There is not a shortage and it does not limit access to any indigenous cultures to their ceremonies or rituals for me to use it in my practice as a queer white practioner. This medicine has partnered for milienia with many indigenous cultures and many cultures have been more faithful to steward its healing wisdom. As an descendent of western settlers I want to recognize with gratitude the indigenous healers and communities who have shared their healing technology with the west.

  4. I believe this is a medicine that chose me and I chose back! Psilocybin has changed my life and the lives of many I have worked with. I cherish getting to partner with it. And I would love to join you and the medicine on your healing journey.

What is Psilocyb|n?

Psilocyb|n, a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms, has shown significant promise in helping queer and trans individuals heal from PTSD. Psilocythem is offering a unique approach for trauma recovery. For many in these communities, experiences of marginalization, discrimination, and violence often result in deep psychological wounds. Traditional therapeutic methods sometimes fail to address the intersectional complexities of gender identity, sexual orientation, and trauma. Psilocythem Medicine allows individuals to access repressed emotions and memories in a supportive, spacious environment, facilitating a profound sense of healing and self-acceptance. Early research suggests that it can reduce PTSD symptoms by encouraging new neural pathways and fostering emotional processing, helping queer and trans individuals confront and transcend relational harm with relational medicine.
